Associate, AI Engineer

Quick Take - 

We are seeking an Associate, AI Engineer to join our Data Science team, focusing on building and deploying AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and other advanced AI tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, data science, or a related field, with hands-on experience in python programing, SQL, API, DevOps, application containerization, Kubernetes deployment management, and building UI applications for prototyping and internal use.

 The Work - 

• Design and develop AI-powered applications using LLMs, and other advanced AI tools to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
• Extract and preprocess data from various sources, including databases, cloud data warehouses, web APIs, and flat files.
• Develop and deploy AI applications using Python, Java, C++, or C# programming languages.
• Build and deploy containerized applications into Kubernetes environment.
• Build RAG pipelines that index various data into a vector store (Milvus, Pinecone) and expose fast semantic-search APIs.
• Develop lightweight UIs (Streamlit or React-based toolkits) for internal user testing and feedback loops
• Produce technical documentation and manage version control.
• Partner with automation and software developers on project integration tasks.
  
  

The Must-Haves - 

• B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related analytical field.
• 1-3 years of experience with data or AI/ML role with the focus on Gen AI products development.
• Experience with Python programming language for Machine Learning and AI Application Development.
• Experience working with DevOps platforms like GitHub, Gitea.
• Experience working in Linux server environments.
• Experience with querying and manipulating data using SQL.
• Working knowledge of C#, JavaScript, Java, programming languages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to take ownership and execute the end-to-end flow of AI product development.
• Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
• Ability to keep up to date with trends in the AI and data science disciplines.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with fine tuning LLMs
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and monitoring
