AI FULL STACK ENGINEER at MOTOR INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Summary

  • As a Full Stack AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI-based applications that leverage large language models such as GPT-4/GPT-3.5, Gemini, and state of the art open source models. You will leverage your resourcefulness and creativity to design out of the box solutions. You will work closely with product managers, data scientists, and customers to understand their needs and deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed their expectations. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices and processes. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, robust, and efficient AI systems that use agents or large language models for various natural language processing tasks such as text generation, summarization, question answering, sentiment analysis, etc.
  • Optimize the performance, accuracy, and reliability of the AI systems using state-of-the-art techniques and tools.
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation of the AI systems.
  • Deploy and monitor the AI systems in production environments and ensure their availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and customers to understand their requirements and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and trends in the AI and large language models domain and propose innovative solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in AI or natural language processing.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be proficient in Python and SQL.
  • Built at least 1-2 generative AI projects in the last 18 months using frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex
  • Hands-on experience with large language models  and agents such as GPT-4, Gemini, Llama, Mistral and their applications.
  • Strong knowledge of natural language processing concepts and techniques such as tokenization, embedding, attention, transformers, etc.
  • Pandas and/or polars experience is desired.
  • Experience with the PyTorch framework is helpful.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Pyspark 
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their AI services.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or Git.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about learning new technologies and staying updated with the latest developments in the AI and large language models’ field.
