DescriptionThe Customer Success Services team needs an AI Engineer that can design, develop, configure, evaluate, monitor and optimize generative AI and agent solutions for Oracle applications, as well as develop innovative solutions to advance the CSS team's operational capabilities and effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will create processes, tools, and tests so that CSS can evaluate and optimize AI responses on customer instances at scale. The candidate will develop monetizable services and build revenue streams around different levels of test, evaluation, monitoring and audit for generative AI authoring, summarization, retrieval augmented generation and agentic workflows. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining close relationships and sharing information across many lines of business.
Preference is for people near Pleasanton, CA, but remote from within the US will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and optimize GenAI solutions (including RAG and agents).
- Provide analysis and reporting of AI quality and business value, as well as auditing (e.g. bias, prompt injection, guardrails) for customers.
- Develop methods and tools to evaluate, improve, extend, and measure ROI of Oracle AI solutions.
- Design and develop custom AI solutions to optimize and generate efficiencies for business operations.
- Help monetize AI capabilities as managed services.
- Support internal standardization and uptake of generative AI code assist tools.
- Interface with Oracle AI Review (OAR) Board and Corporate Security Solution Assurance Process team to ensure AI and security governance.
