We’re seeking a Robotics Engineer Intern this fall to support our manufacturing and engineering teams in building and testing robotic systems. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates in engineering who are eager to gain hands-on experience with hardware assembly, integration, and testing in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll work directly with experienced engineers and technicians and play a key role in the prototyping and validation of robotic components.
Assist with mechanical and electrical assembly of robotic components, wiring, and sub-systems
Support integration of sensors, actuators, and control hardware
Perform system-level testing and help troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues
Collaborate with technicians and engineers to interpret assembly documentation and drawings
Maintain lab organization, inventory tracking, and support test documentation
Participate in design feedback sessions and contribute to process improvements
Required:
Actively pursuing or recently completed a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Some hands-on experience (coursework, projects, or internships) in hardware prototyping, assembly, or testing
Familiarity with mechanical tools, wiring, and electrical components
Eagerness to learn in a collaborative and hands-on environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
Experience with robotics projects (personal, academic, or work-related)
Exposure to ROS, SolidWorks, or basic programming (Python, C++)
Previous internship or co-op in a manufacturing or hardware startup
Real-world experience building and testing robots from the ground up
Mentorship from a team of experienced engineers and roboticists
Exposure to the full product lifecycle in a high-growth startup
