The Role
We are seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer – Perception to drive outcomes across perception, sensor fusion, and calibration that directly expand Treeswift’s capabilities. You’ll lead development of SLAM and multi-sensor fusion pipelines that enable our systems to operate reliably in large, GPS-degraded environments. Your work will be critical to improving product reliability, accelerating delivery timelines, and scaling our technology across thousands of miles of infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
Lead development of SLAM systems, integrating new sensors and improving performance in GPS-degraded environments.
Advance sensor fusion and calibration workflows, including multi-user, multi-session point cloud maps and LiDAR-imagery alignment.
Improve scalability and reliability by eliminating reliance on extrinsic field measurements and developing real-time data quality monitoring.
Collaborate with a mission-driven team to deliver perception solutions for large-scale robotics deployments.
Develop and implement algorithms for LiDAR-based perception, SLAM mapping, and large-scale scene reconstruction.
